3 Questions from a Reader
In a recent blog post, we asked for questions from readers. Thanks to Joan from High Contagious Marketing for asking these thought-provoking questions:
1. If your fairy godmother told you she would grant you three wishes for your business, what three wishes would you request.
Wish #1: An easy one. Stop ALL spam, effective immediately. This includes online spam, junk mail, front door solicitors, political calls, etc.
Wish #2: Tivo for the real world. Sometimes you just want to fast-... Continue Reading
BarCamp Vancouver is about to lift off and I'm so excited. Vancouver is easily one of my most favorite cities in the world and happens to have a load of great people - many of which are planners of the event.
I was there was for Northern Voice and Moose Camp - the unconference in the Spring. For that event I signed up for a session early and then remember it the night before the event. Luckily Nancy White was there to co-host the talk on "New Rules for the New Communities" which made all... Continue Reading
Booos and Yeahs - Coming Back By Popular Demand
Boy, did we learn something about our videos. You like the booos and yeahs, eh? I think that's pretty clear.

Over the next little while we'll be tweaking things and posting some content that will represent where Common... Continue Reading
I’m looking for your help again, dear reader. I have a presentation on Wednesday and I plan to tell some stories. I’m introducing weblogs to about 25 people in 30 minutes, some of which know blogs, others, not so much.
I’m looking for inspiring stories of how an individual used a weblog and the weblog community to create real change in some way. Large or small stories, personal or second hand, I'll take all comers.
My point will be that weblogs and related tools are giving individuals... Continue Reading
I have a deliverable due in the short term (read: I'm in a hurry here) and I need to find as many examples/papers/posts/presentations, etc. of:
1. Blogs being used for training and leadership development inside companies.
2. Blogs being adopted used successfully by Fortune 500 companies.
If you know of anything that might be useful, please do leave a comment. Thanks in advance.
