You are special. No really, it’s true. You’re among the first to become a member of Common Craft and for that, you’ll always have a special place in our heart.
You see, this website and the videos here are not the product of some corporate committee or part of an evil plan to take over the world. It’s the work of two people, your humble narrator (Lee) and my wife and partner Sachi. We do everything here, from make videos to answer your questions in email. It’s our job and this website is where we do it.
In fact, you could say that this website is our home and we’ve opened it to you. But here’s the thing. We just moved in - and you know how that goes. We’ve unpacked the boxes and put away the dishes, but there’s still A LOT to do. Personally I think the couch is better by the window.
My point is this: We intentionally built this website without a lot of furniture, rugs or pictures on the walls. Sachi and I are only part of the equation. We believe that the best way to build an awesome home is to live here, with you, for a while. Over time, we’ll find that perfect paint color, fix the leaky faucet and maybe even plant a garden.
Of course, like any project, we’ll communicate to make it work. We want to know what you like and what could be better. We’ll always be ready to listen - because we’re passionate about making this place the best it can be.
So come on in and make yourself at home. We’ll build something great together.
