Just a couple of quick updates to this site...
1. New Background page. My background didn't change any, but I've reformatted and added some information. I took some time to create a "narrative" on that page that basically tells a story of my career.
2. New Acronym Plug-in. As you saw on this post, I'm really going to focus on helping less technical people understand some of the new technologies out there. To this end, there is a plug-in working on this site that automatically takes adds a description to acronyms, so that when you put your cursor over the acronym, it displays a brief description.
The problem with this is that I don't like the default descriptions. So, my next step is to change the descriptions to my liking. For instance:
Put your cursor over this acronym: RSS
I don't' think that description helps too much and I'll work on a better way to do it....
