Interesting article about how sites are incorporating weblog technology as opposed to creating online communities.
â€œWe have not built a web site in the last year for a client that in some way did not incorporate blogging technology,â€?? says Jim Coudal, co-founder of web creative services and design group Coudal Partners in Chicago.
By saying "community is out" the article is referring to using online community as a marketing tool. I tend to agree- but I think that there are still huge opportunities for businesses to use community to support their current customers.
Also, some might argue that weblogs simply enable another form of online community to emerge.
