In the last year I got a chance to participate in a two-day personal development workshop through a client. During the workshop it became obvious that I was very Internet-focused in my work and the question they asked was: “What would you be doing right now if we were living 100 years ago and the Internet didn’t exist?? I think about this often.
Here’s my answer: In 1905, I would be interested in radio and the telegraph. I might not have the radio technology at my fingertips, but I... Continue Reading
I survived Vegas with about even money in my pocket and quite a few hours of lost sleep -- sleep I’m still trying to get back. It seems like it’s taking me longer and longer to recover from such weekends as I get older. I had to take a power nap a little while ago to get through the day.
I’ve been thinking about the whole gambling thing and what a heathen I am. OK, not really. I’ve really been thinking about two types of gambling: with machines and with people. I don’t like... Continue Reading
A few weeks ago I posted a note about photos from our recent nuptials. Soon after, I notice the entry getting traffic and see that Google is pointing people to it.

Last week I attended a five day leadership training course. I was there to observe, but participated in the course as if I was a leader in the company. Throughout the week, we did various exercises, simulations, assessments, etc. I wasn’t sure what to think going into it, but looking back it was an awesome experience because I got to know myself a little better.
I took a lot from the DiSC Classic Personal Profiling System, as did many others in the class. This assessment asks you to rate... Continue Reading

I awoke this morning to find my Internet service was down. Historically this has been a complete pain, as it was never easy enough to find out if it was a system wide problem or something local about my service or set-up.
Eventually I called Comcast, entered my phone number within 2-3 button pushes. The next message was- "We are experiencing service outages in your area, if you would like to receive a phone call when service is restored, please press 1".
So, I accepted the offer for the call... Continue Reading
It was 1 year ago today that I posted my first public and personal weblog entry. To celebrate, LeeLeFever.com has a completely new look- starting today. Time to get away from this computer and celebrate.
