I am interested in networking with other women in the area to give me some points of contact. My fiance and I are moving to Florida from southwestern Michigan. My oldest son lives in Orlando, but we would like to settle somewhere along the west coast/gulf area.

By way of personal history, I am 52 years young. Withing the last 9 years I lost a husband and raised four children on my own. In 1998 I started a local weekly newspaper in this area, and ran it for almost 4 years. What fun!!! Although a lot of work, it was extremely rewarding (although not financially). I currently do freelance writing, graphic design and bookkeeping.

I am computer literate and enjoy working with people. I also have vast experience in community events and organizations, having served as board member and chairman on various committees and not-for-profits. My soon-to-be husband is a former attorney (Cancer sidelined him for a time, but he is well now). He wants to pursue another line of work, and has multi degrees.
