New Common Craft Business Cards
By leelefever on March 17, 2005 - 10:48am
My new cards just came in from Overnight Prints (which I highly recommend). These are the real ones this time. The front has a slick "UV" finish and the back is more paper feeling (for easy writing).
Big thanks to Anthony for help with the design.

yeah, these look sharp man. i always liked the idea of putting a spot for notes on the back. rounded corners are a nice touch too... especially the way they play off your other design elements. how many cards did ya print and what did it end up costing?

Nice work Lee. Those look great!

Ya know, I really didn't need 1000, but it was only $10 more than 250, so what the hell, eh? $49 for 1000.
The rounded corners were expensive at $2 per thousand. $20.
About $69 before tax, s&h, etc.- which I think is really reasonable.
Their customer service line is open 24hrs on weekdays too.

The design looks great. Thanks for posting your experience.
I ordered a sample kit to see if this service will work for a nonprofit I'm working with.
Just wondering how you liked the paper stock, does it have a good weight/feel to it?

Eileen,
I do like the feel of it- it's sturdy. I wanted different finishes on different sizes and it was an option in the ordering process.
