Working with Explainers
Working with Explainers - An Introduction
You need a video. The Common Craft Explainer Network is a group of producers who can help. But how does it work? What can you expect in hiring and working with an Explainer company?
Each Explainer Network member has a unique set of skills, visual styles and capabilities. However, across all members, a few things are consistent:
Explanation is a skill. When you hire an explainer company to make a video, you are hiring an organization that focuses on making your product or service easy to understand. This goal makes explainers different than everyday video producers and screencasts.
Explanation takes time. The style of many explainer videos can be deceiving. They may look simple, but it takes time and effort to be effective. Explainer companies take the time to understand your goals and find creative ways to explain your product or service. Projects usually take weeks to complete.
"Common Craft Style": You may have visited the Explainer Network after watching a Common Craft video. Videos by Explainer Network members have the same spirit and goals of a Common Craft video, but come with a range of creative touches and styles.
Feel free to browse each of their portfolios and contact those who may best fit your needs.
