Firefox installs with a default setting for subscribing in Firefox Live Bookmarks when you click on an RSS link. Beginners using Firefox won't see the feed preview or code that you show - they'll get a dialog box that lets them add to Live Bookmarks. The way I tell people to get around this is to Right Click, and Copy Link Location, then go to Reader, Add Subscription and paste.
