Ouch

I had written for almost an hour, using Movable Type in the FireFox browser. Nick comes over to tell me to check out some pics on Flickr. At that moment, Firefox crashed and all my work was lost. This hurts and it's happened before.
I really, really need to remember to write in something other than the browser.

As it turns out, I get to start the New Year with an almost new computer. You see, over the last days of 2004, my computer decided it couldn't face 2005 and had a complete meltdown. So it's on the way to Sony to get fixed.

In case you were looking for something completely different, check out the tiniest graffiti.

To those of you reading RSS feeds, please forgive the appearance and disappearance of an entry about the online community summit. I have fighting with the system all morning and eventually had to give up. Something kept pushing my right nav bar to the bottom of the page and no matter what I did, it kept doing it. OK, I'm back in body and almost mind. The honeymoon officially ended at midnight last night, so I'm in the throes of my first 24 hours of real married life, which isn't much different so far. I do have a ring on a finger that has not had one before. Oh, and I have a lot less event planning to do.

As I discussed with this weblog, I've been planning for a wedding. The time has come and I am proud to say that I will marry Sachiko, the absolute love of my life this Saturday (about 42 hours from now). This is a truly exciting time in my life.
